Terms of Service

Lighthouse AI Metrics (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a web performance monitoring service available at lighthouse-aimetrics.com. We help developers and teams track Google Lighthouse scores, Core Web Vitals, and performance regressions across multiple regions over time.

When you sign up and use Lighthouse AI Metrics, you are entering into a legal agreement with us. These terms govern your access to and use of our platform, including all features, APIs, reports, and any related services we offer now or in the future.

If you are using Lighthouse AI Metrics on behalf of a company or organization, you are agreeing to these terms on their behalf. You represent that you have the authority to do so.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We are not liable for any actions taken through your account by someone else if those actions resulted from you sharing your password, failing to log out on shared devices, or any other lapse on your end.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep that information current. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that appear to contain false or misleading information.

You may use Lighthouse AI Metrics only for lawful purposes. When configuring monitors, you may only run audits against URLs you own, control, or have explicit permission to test. Running audits against third party websites without authorization, with the intent to harm, scrape, or overload those sites, is strictly prohibited.

You may not use our service to:

• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any rate limits or technical restrictions we have in place.
• Generate excessive or abusive API requests that degrade the experience for other users.
• Resell or sublicense access to our platform without our written permission.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our service.
• Use our platform to engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.

We reserve the right to suspend access to any account that we believe, in our sole discretion, is in violation of these terms.

Our public Lighthouse audit tool allows anyone to run a performance check on any URL without creating an account. These checks are rate limited. By submitting a URL to our public checker, you confirm that you either own that URL or have permission to run performance audits against it. We store the results of public checks temporarily and may display aggregated statistics about the usage of this feature.

Some features of Lighthouse AI Metrics require a paid subscription. Pricing is displayed on our website and is charged in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you select.

Payments are processed by a PCI-compliant third party payment provider. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers. By providing a payment method, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees on the schedule corresponding to your subscription tier.

If your payment fails, we will notify you and may restrict access to paid features until payment is successfully collected. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you before suspending your account due to billing issues.

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. If we increase the price of a plan you are currently subscribed to, we will give you at least 30 days notice before the new price takes effect. Your continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

We store your Lighthouse reports and retain performance metric history according to the retention limits of your plan. When your account is deleted or your subscription lapses beyond the grace period, we may permanently delete your historical data. We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from account termination.

All content, design, code, and functionality on lighthouse-aimetrics.com is owned by or licensed to Lighthouse AI Metrics. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. You retain ownership of any data you submit through our platform, such as your URLs, custom headers, or alert configurations.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store that data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

We work hard to keep Lighthouse AI Metrics running reliably, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. Performance audits depend on third party infrastructure and external services outside our direct control. Occasionally, audits may fail, be delayed, or produce incomplete results as a result.

We are not liable for any losses, missed alerts, or performance regressions that you fail to detect as a result of service interruptions.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lighthouse AI Metrics and its founders, employees, and contractors will not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these terms or the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Lighthouse AI Metrics is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that our service will meet your specific requirements or that it will be error free.

You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if we determine you have violated these terms or if we reasonably believe continued access would pose a risk to us or other users.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

These terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from your use of Lighthouse AI Metrics or from these terms will be resolved through good faith negotiation first. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be submitted to binding arbitration under widely recognized arbitration rules, conducted in English. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction where necessary to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email or through an in-app notice. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
